นายชลณัฐ ญาณารณพ กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ เอสซีจี เคมิคอลส์ ในเอสซีจี และ มร.ยูกิโอะ ฮารา ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร มิตซุย เคมิคอลส์ โทเซลโล อิงค์ (Mitsui Chemicals Tohcello, Inc. หรือMCTI) ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ร่วมลงนามในสัญญาร่วมทุนจัดตั้งบริษัท สยาม โทเซลโล จำกัด (Siam Tohcello Co., Ltd. หรือ STC) เพื่อผลิตฟิล์มพลาสติก LLDPE ซึ่งจัดเป็นสินค้าในกลุ่ม HVA ภายใต้เครื่องหมายการค้า T.U.X™ (ทียูเอ็กซ์) ด้วยมูลค่าเงินลงทุนรวม 1,400 ล้านบาท มีกำลังการผลิต 15,000 ตันต่อปี โรงงานตั้งอยู่ที่นิคมอุตสาหกรรมอีสเทิร์นซีบอร์ด จ.ระยอง คาดว่าจะเริ่มผลิตได้ภายในต้นปี 2557 สำหรับพิธีลงนามดังกล่าว ได้รับเกียรติจาก มร.เรียวอิจิ มิยาวากิ กรรมการ MCTI และ มร.มานาบุ เซริว ประธานส่วนธุรกิจบรรจุภัณฑ์แบบฟิล์ม MCTI นายเชาวลิต เอกบุตร ผู้ช่วยผู้จัดการใหญ่ การเงินและการลงทุน เอสซีจี นายรุ่งโรจน์ รังสิโยภาส กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ เอสซีจี เปเปอร์ ในเอสซีจี ร่วมเป็นสักขีพยาน สำหรับ ฟิล์มพลาสติก LLDPE ชนิดพิเศษ ภายใต้เครื่องหมายการค้า T.U.X™ นี้ เป็นฟิล์มที่มีความแข็งแรงสูง ทนทานต่อการฉีกขาดและการรั่วไหล โดดเด่นด้านความใส และมีคุณสมบัติในการปิดผนึกเป็นอย่างดี เหมาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับการผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์อาหาร ซึ่งช่วยเก็บรักษาอาหารให้ปลอดภัยและถูกสุขอนามัย จึงเชื่อมั่นว่าจะสามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้บริโภคและผู้จัดจำหน่ายสินค้าในตลาดอาเซียนได้เป็นอย่างดี
